There I was alone and walking on the sidewalk on that breezy hazy Saturday
I had no plans – I had no place that I needed to be (I had nowhere to go)
So there I was just watching all the people go by when you bumped right into me
Quite literally! I was caught by surprise but the words I couldn’t find, no.
As you blushed in apologetic form (apologetic form)

An epiphany of serendipitous happenstance
Is how I describe us meeting
Brought by heaven-led circumstance
The feeling was not fleeting.

There we were just two strangers on this street on that day not unlike any other day

But there we were and captivated by each glance and word we said
